Dum Nern Sadoke floating market

Once upon a time everyone traveled around in boats on canals. When the local people went out shopping it was in their boats where they would meet their neighbours and buy and sell provisions for the day. This all happens early in the day before it got too hot.

Nowadays its a bit touristy but the atmosphere is nice there are many oppotunities for capturing great pictures.

Our boat man treated to us to a great long story how he had no money and needed lots of money to send his many children to school.
As we parted company we wished him well with his search for more money and he smiled lit an other cigarette and made himself comfy in a shady corner to wait for the next tourist.

The boat traders will offer you fruits to eat to tempt you to buy from them be careful they wash their knifes in the filthy waters of the canals

Go early in the morning.
